Injection mold couplings provide quick coupling for cooling and heating hoses used on injection molding equipment. In 1/2" size, these couplings are gaining popularity for glycol connections to drive units on progressive cavity jack pumps. These couplings are machined from solid brass bar stock, while stainless steel balls, retaining rings, and springs provide maximum service life. High temperature silicone seals are standard in all couplings. Replacement FPM (Viton®) O-Rings are available and are rated for use from -26°C (-15°F) to 204°C (400°F) with oil-based media. Plugs are machined from solid brass. Please note, valved plugs must be used with valved couplers.
