These manual connect and disconnect couplings are commonly used in fluid transfer applications where unrestricted flow and high operating pressures are desired. In 1/2" size, these couplers are also gaining popularity for glycol connections to drive units of progressive cavity jack pumps. Couplers are machined from solid brass or 303 stainless steel bar stock and come standard with buna-N (Nitrile) seals. Stainless steel balls, retaining rings, and springs provide maximum service life. Plugs are machined from solid brass, steel, or 303 stainless steel bar stock. Steel plugs are hardened and zinc-plated for maximum service life.
