These manual connect and disconnect couplings are commonly used in fluid transfer applications where unrestricted flow and high operating pressures are desired. In 1/2" size, these couplers are also gaining popularity for glycol connections to drive united of progressive cavity jack pumps. Couplers are machined from solid brass and 303 stainless steel bar stock. Stainless steel balls, retaining ring, and spring provide maximum service life. Plugs are machined from solid brass, steel, and 303 stainless steel bar stock. Steel plugs are hardened and zinc-plated for maximum service life.
