The O-Ring Face Seal connection is a recent coupling innovation designed to minimize leakage, especially in high pressure applications. The o-ring fits in a recessed groove on the face of the straight male thread and seals when compressed onto the flat face of the female as the threads are tightened. Please note, our Pulsar adapters are for general hydraulic use. Pressure ratings are dependent on size and thread design. Whenever possible, elbows and tees are forged one-piece designs rather than braised from components. However, where manufacturing quantities are insufficient to warrant forging, parts are braised.
