BSP threads seal in the same way as NPT threads but are different dimensions. BSP is very common on many types of European equipment as well as some Japanese machinery. More often, BSP threads are parallel (BSPP) but occasionally they may be found with tapered threads (BSPT). Please note, our Pulsar adapters are for general hydraulic use. Pressure ratings are dependent on size and thread design. Whenever possible, elbows and tees are forged one-piece designs rather than braised from components. However, where manufacturing quantities are insufficient to warrant forging, parts are braised.
